The POUSSE-CORNET auction house is pleased to announce that it will be auctioning an exceptional set of 47 photographs by Marcel BASCOULARD (1913-1978), a vagabond artist from Berry, France, on Friday August 30 at the Blois auction house.

These photos were kept in a small photo album and had been given by the artist as a token of love to a close friend, then passed on to the heirs by inheritance.

Most of these photos show the artist as a young man, cross-dressing as a woman. Some, rarer ones, show drawings made by the artist on the reverse side of the silver print, notably his famous gibus with annotations in patois in pink pen.

Pick-ups at the Blois auction house from Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm/14pm-6pm. If your purchases cannot be shipped (fragility, size, weight...), it is your responsibility to arrange collection within 15 days of the sale.

IMPORTANT : Tout bordereau d’adjudication demeuré impayé dans le mois auprès de POUSSE-CORNET ou ayant fait l’objet d’un retard de paiement entrainera l’inscription de l’acheteur défaillant au Fichier TEMIS : fichier national de mauvais payeurs interdisant d’enchérir partout en France par la suite.

Retraits à l’hôtel des ventes de Blois du lundi au vendredi 9h-12h/14h-18h. Si vos achats ne peuvent pas être expédiés (fragilité, dimension, poids…), il vous appartient d’organiser leur enlèvement dans les 15 jours suivant la vente. (Liste indicative de transporteurs en PJ). Passé ce délai, des frais de magasinage vous seront facturés (5€/jour).
