A PAIR of Louis XVI style bookcases in rosewood and amaranth veneer, inlaid with butterfly wings, the recessed front opening onto three glazed and latticed partei doors, framed by simulated fluted uprights. Tops in Languedoc red breche marble. The interior features six height-adjustable shelves. Faubourg Paris work, late 19th century. H.134, W.182, D.34 cm. Some wear, veneer lifting, one marble accident, one lock jammed and one key missing.
