Archaeology. Itzvart, Nabon, Galléazzi and other collections.

Peter Itzvart (1943-2023) built up his Egyptology collection between 1975 and 1990. Living in Paris, he was a regular visitor to flea markets and Drouot.

Jacques Nabon (1923-2016), a merchant from Blais, gathered together with his wife Janine an important archaeological collection, most of which was sold at auction in 2015.

Michel Galléazzi, known for his works on Roman numismatics, mainly built up his collection of antiquities while working as a cooperative teacher in Tunisia between 1967 and 1973.
