PAYS-BAS. Belle épée de cour à monture en argent ciselé, fusée à filigrane d'argent, pommeau en forme d'olive ciselé et ajouré de rinceaux et motifs floraux, garde monobranche ciselée en suite, coquille ovale ajourée en forme de tressage et dont le motif central circulaire est présent sur le pommeau et la garde, lame droite à la colichemarde, large et triangulaire au deux tiers gravée de rinceaux et d'un personnage, puis fine à double tranchant au dernier tiers. Le talon est gravé en français " Je laisse ma vie pour la Patrie" et signé "Abraham du Cellié swartveger in Kalverstraat tot Amsterdam" (Abraham du Cellié, fourbisseur à Kalvertstraat sis Amserdam). Fourreau en cuir à trois garnitures en argent. Vers 1770-1780. L: 100,5 cm, lame: 83, 5 cm. ABE (filigrane légèrement défait) Abraham de Cellié est un fourbisseur installé Kalverstraat vers 1760-1780, on connait d'autres armes blanches réalisées par lui. La lame de cette épée a été gravée à l'acide à la fin du XIXe siècle, une armoirie avec devise "anima in amicis una" et daté "march 1888" pour une circonstance inconnue. NETHERLANDS. Leather scabbard with three silver fittings. About 1770-1780. L: 100,5 cm, blade: 83,5 cm. FC (grip silver thread slightly undone) Abraham de Cellié was a sword manufacterer in Kalverstraat around 1760-1780, other swords made by him are known. The blade of this sword was acid engraved at the end of the 19th century, a coat of arms with motto "anima in amicis una" and dated "march 1888" for an unknown circumstance.
