For the valuation of Old Master paintings, we trust Stéphane Pinta from the Cabinet TURQUIN for Old Master paintings, and the Cabinet DE BAYSER for Old Master drawings, both behind numerous sensational rediscoveries in recent years. The regions of the Loire Valley, Sologne, and Touraine still hold many treasures! Proof of this came with the auction of a selection of works by the painter-traveler Ernest CHARTON (1816-1877) at the Blois Auction House, resulting in a world record of €384,000 for a canvas by the artist (Panorama of Valparaiso).
