Rare SECRETARY with height of support, in... - Lot 301 - Pousse-Cornet
Rare SECRETARY with height of support, in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening by a flap discovering compartments, four small drawers and a tray tended of green leather (used) and two doors in lower part. The two-part uprights, with a cutaway at the top and rounded at the bottom, are fluted and centered with a small bronze antique vase. It rests on four tapered legs (maintenance restorations, a small crack, one side slightly insolated). White marble top surrounded by a gilded brass gallery. Stamped Jean-Baptiste Vassou, received master in Paris in 1767 and hallmark of Jurande, JME. Louis XVI period. L66x H.112 x W.66 x D.35 cm. Wear and restorations.
