FRANCE. Court sword with chased steel frame and all the parts in relief gilded with fine gold. Although of high quality, this one is incomplete: one-piece spindle and pommel chased with scrolls, flowers and palmettes, bivalve shell decorated in suite, triangular straight blade engraved with scrolls in the first quarter, the guard branch and the quillon are missing. L: 99 cm, blade: 83 cm. SF. Eighteenth century. ABE FRANCE. Court sword with a chased steel mount, all the raised parts of which have been gilded with fine gold.
