Cavalry officer's saber with iron mounting, fluted marine ivory spindle, 3-pronged hilt, one main and 2 secondary, straight quillon, straight blade with hollow sides and gutter, counter-edge in last quarter. SF. L: 96 cm, blade: 81 cm. Late 18th-early 19th century. SF. ABE (oxidation on the blade) According to some authors this type of saber was carried by the officers of the territorial cavalry (Yeomanry) ENGLAND.
