Artillery officer's saber model 1821 with steel frame, filigree stingray handle, 3-pronged guard, straight blade with hollow sides acid engraved on 2/3 of floral motifs and the great arms of England on the other side of the staff lightning and "Royal Artillery", signed on the ricasso "by warrant Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London", leather scabbard with 2 iron trimmings, with leather strap and saddle sword gusset. L: 105 cm, blade: 89 cm. Is attached to this sword and of the same origin a whetstone mounted on a wooden frame. BE This saber belonged to an English Lord who was at the coronation ceremonies of George V and George VI and who offered it to Master van Oeveren ENGLAND.
