Old restorations, lifts and small chips Experts: cabinet Turquin, Stéphane Pinta & Laurent Mirouze Jean Boudet took part in these three decisive battles of the 1809 campaign as a general commanding one of the four divisions of the 4th Corps commanded by Marshal Masséna. This division comprised three regiments: the 3rd Léger, the 93rd Line Regiment from Lyon and the 56th Line Regiment from Chambery. The latter particularly distinguished itself at Essling-Aspern on May 21-22, 1809, at the famous "Schutkaste" granary. This battle was General Boudet's greatest feat of arms. He died suddenly, probably of illness and exhaustion, in September 1809. Experts: Cabinet Turquin, Stéphane Pinta & Laurent Mirouze (CNES expert)
