TOUAREG, Sahara Cultural Area: "Telek" arm dagger with scabbard and cross-shaped handle. Iron, leather, brass. L. 48.5 cm. Small accidents and missing parts. Provenance: From a set of Tuareg weapons belonging to the marshal-des-logis Alban LHERSONNEAU, (1885-1936), spahi with the Saharan regiment between 1904 and 1913, he joined the Chalais-Meudon workshops (airships) in 1914, where he was in charge of engines.
