DISCLAIMER. The collection presented in this sale was assembled over half a century by a history enthusiast whose main interest was France during the 2nd World War. He has patiently assembled thousands of documents from all aspects of this period. To this end, it represents an inseparable and complementary historical corpus. The darkest aspects of our history - collaboration, purging - are all part of it. To conceal them is to truncate our history. We have prepared this historical vacation in full compliance with the law and with article 645-1 of the French penal code concerning the wearing or display of uniforms, insignia and emblems reminiscent of those of organizations or individuals responsible for crimes against humanity, confirmed by a decision of the French Supreme Court on September 5, 2023 (pourvoi n° 22 -85.540). Pick-ups at the Blois auction house from Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm/14pm-6pm. If your purchases cannot be shipped (fragility, size, weight...), it is your responsibility to arrange collection within 15 days of the sale.

Les aspects les plus sombres de notre histoire, collaboration, épuration en font partie. Les occulter c’est tronquer celle-ci. Nous avons préparé cette vacation historique dans le plus fidèle respect de la Loi et du respect de l’article 645-1 du code pénal concernant le port ou l’exhibition d’uniformes, insignes et emblèmes rappelant ceux d’organisations ou de personnes responsables de crimes contre l’humanité et confirmé par une décision de la cour de Cassation du 5 septembre 2023 (pourvoi n° 22 -85.540).
